It was firstly used by the Third Team of Shanxi Regional Geological Survey Group (TTSRGSG) (1976). BGMRH(Hennan)P (1989, 1997), Zheng et al. (1999), and Gao et al. (2014a) all employed it.
Synonyms: BGMRH(Henan)P (1997) and Gao et al. (2014a) considered that both the Bajiagou Fm and the Sishiwuligang Fm are synonyms of the Luwangfen Fm.
Lithology and Thickness
Lower part is characterized by purplish-red and red claystones interbedded with white medium thick marlstones, containing brownish-yellow fine sandstones.
